Perception is everything. The issue isn't about Kerry picking up on this story. The issue is the Bush administrations insistence that it's in control and things are going well in Iraq. That's the big lie. And no Kerry isn't saying pull out immediately despite what the GOP talking points say. But I trust Kerry far more than I do Bush II - and we have the causulty lists, the awful images and the words of Iraqis to support us. I wish Americans would get riled up about the 49 massacred soldiers. But I guess that wasn't anyone's fault either, right?

If these incidents don't swing the vote in Kerry's favor, there's a thatched cottage in Ireland I'm looking to move into.
